Abundant? I think so.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element on Earth. It accounts for 75% of the mass of the universe and 70% of the mass of Earth, mostly in water. On Earth, Hydrogen is only found in combination with other elements such as Carbon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen. It must be seperated from other elements in order to manipulate its many uses. This seperation has created many problems because in order to get hydrogen by itself the compound must undergo a process such as electolysis. Right now the only way to start these processes is by using fossil fuels and this would produce more green house gases than every person running a petrol vehicle for themselves.
